Rise Against – Revolutions Per Minute
FAT306-1
Pre Order 16th October
Originally released in 2003 via Fat Wreck Chords, Revolutions Per Minute is the second studio album from Rise Against and a defining record of the band’s early career.
Written while touring across the US, Canada and Europe, the album was recorded at The Blasting Room with Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore.
Revolutions Per Minute combines blistering punk energy with sharp, melodic songwriting, led by Tim McIlrath’s passionate vocals and socially conscious lyrics. Standout tracks include ‘Like the Angel’ and ‘Black Masks & Gasoline’.
The album helped establish Rise Against’s distinctive blend of melodic hardcore and politically charged punk, bridging the gap between the underground hardcore scene and the more accessible sound that would later bring the band international success.
Now regarded as one of the key releases in Rise Against’s catalogue and a standout record of 2000s punk.
